After the devastating damage from Hurricane Sandy left thousands of people displaced and without electricity, Occupy Sandy will host a benefit concert featuring an afternoon of performances at St. Ann & The Holy Trinity in Brooklyn Heights on Saturday, November 17th. The event includes short, intimate (often entirely acoustic) performances by Real Estate, Vampire Weekend, Devendra Banhart, Hamilton Leithauser, Walter Martin & Peter Bauer from The Walkmen, Cass McCombs, and David Longstreth, Amber Coffman and Haley Delde from Dirty Projectors.
Donation of $30 Minimum per ticket
2 tickets per person MAX
All proceeds will go Occupy Sandy to build the infrastructure to sustain our recovery efforts across NYC. Occupy Sandy is a people-powered network of mutual aid in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy and the ongoing humanitarian crisis of climate change and systemic poverty in the USA.
