The Great GoogaMooga RETURNS! The Great GoogaMooga RETURNS!

googamooga-cn-0647That’s right, kids. The Great GoogaMooga…the food, booze and rock bamboozle is coming back to Brooklyn for it’s second year in Prospect Park May 17, 18 & 19 and though the exact details of what happened last time have been lost to the sun and beer lines we are nonetheless totally stoked because there’s nothing more that we at Pinpoint enjoy than eating and drinking and a free show. Well, most the shows are free. This year, the good people of the Mooga have expanded their enterprise to include a third, early bird kickoff gig that features The Darkness, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and The Flaming friggin’ Lips. Tickets for that are $49.50 and guarantee you entry on Saturday or Sunday. If you don’t feel like shelling out fifty smackers to see one seriously righteous gig (tickets go on sale this Thursday at noon) on a beautiful Friday in the park you can always take your chances on getting in on the free side of things by registering on April 1st. What’s the haps, you ask? Well, the festival will boast all sorts of sips and noms from places you always wanted to take a date and well, let’s just list the damn lineup, huh?
