Coma Cinema Announce New Album, Stream “Satan Made a Mansion” Coma Cinema Announce New Album, Stream “Satan Made a Mansion”

comaComa Cinema is the nom de guerre of South Carolina native Mat Cothran (who also wages somber sin as the awesomely named Elvis Depressedly) and is one hell of a bed pop bummer. That, of course, is why we love him (them?) and are pleased as our Adderalled brains will let slip to inform you that he (they) will be releasing a new record called Posthumous Release on 6/11 via Fork and Spoon (CD, LP) and Orchid Tapes (Cassette [because they’re back for some reason]). We’ve got a track from that record, “Satan Made a Mansion,” streaming for your grey afternoon, below. We should note that, unlike the previous works of Mr. Cochran, this song (and album) display a surprising lack of tape hiss and isolationist’s sense of fidelity but never fear. Unlike many acts that made the jump to unshitty production we’re confident that you’ll enjoy what he (with help from Brad Petering and Jason Wyman from TV Girl as well as Rachel Levy aka R.L. Kelly) has for you to clearly hear.
