WATCH! Moon King Turn a Living Room into a Monochromatic Krautrock Playground in “Apocalypse:Roswell” WATCH! Moon King Turn a Living Room into a Monochromatic Krautrock Playground in “Apocalypse:Roswell”

There are fewer things I love more in this world than batting my bum eyes and finding a whole new world of weirdo tunesmiths rocking the pop up from the NEU! underground because it doesn’t happen very often no matter what the press junkets will tell you (and, in all honesty, I prefer the junkyard terror of Faust) which is good otherwise I’d probably be rocking a Jung cleft and a pince nez and then there’d be no one left to love me back. But less me and more Moon King, huh? Good. Because the Toronto duo seems to be something of an errant force running fast up the ranks of the grey area on the strength of two EPs, a history of hot-trotted actions and the frothing surrounding a full-on, full-length called Secret Life (due 4/14 via Last Gang). Below, you can see the band in some temporal incantation wherein they mesh the tracks “Apocalypse” and “Roswell” into a seamless expanse. So, I guess it’s a live one? It’s certainly lively enough. They’re touring too and totally deserve your attendance and dough. Rockit.
