Stripes And Lines – Live (Episode 1) Stripes And Lines – Live (Episode 1)

The boys from Stripes And Lines have been rocking the San Diego and California scene for over 2 years, but with the release of their first full-length album, Mutiny On The Coast Of Excess, this band will undoubtedly be expanding its horizons in a hurry.  Proclaiming themselves as progressive indie rock, Stripes And Lines ironically puts the ‘roots’ back into ‘progressive’.  With clear inspiration from legendary sounds like The Police combined with modern indie rock energy and strongly driven by a dedication to songwriting, Stripes And Lines deliver a unique-yet-familiar sound that is much needed on the broad landscape of todays indie scene.  The band members pride themselves on their live show and, with the unconventional drummer/vocalist setup and a bit of a jam-band approach, they enjoy bringing a new experience to the stage with every show.  This is, no doubt, one of the major reasons for their foundation of unwavering local support and will certainly not go unrecognized on a national scale.  If you don’t believe me, check them out live at their album release show in San Diego…do it now!
