Raw PowerIggy Pop looks like he might be looking to record some new, or at least unreleased, material after The Stooges reunion tour this year. In an interview with Billboard he said, “Ultimately I’d like to get into the studio with the group and maybe have a couple old songs, a couple new songs and then a little time to just jam and see what happens”.

This past year Asheton, one of the band’s founding members, died at the age of 60. He has been replaced by the guitarist most famously featured on their 1973 album ‘Raw Power’, James Williamson.

The Stooges are set to hit the road in May playing two shows in London; they will be playing ‘Raw Power’ in full.
