Belle and Sebastian

Belle and Sebastian have announced their first shows in nearly four years. The prominent ensemble have been on hold since lead Stuart Murdoch put the group on hold to work on God Help the Girl. But now it appears that Murdoch’s attention is back on Belle and Sebastian who look to be setting up for a busy year of performing and recording.

Recently the band sent out the following to their mailing list,”We’ve been in the studio these last few weeks writing some new tracks and shortly we will say cheerio to Glasgow for a while when we set off to L.A. to record our next album.”

As for the tour, Belle and Sebastian will be playing a few festival dates in Finland, Norway and Japan. As for whether they will be playing any North American shows anytime soon, we’ll just have to wait patiently.

Tourdates:
July 11th TUKU, Ruisrock festival
July 15th TøNSBERG, Slottsfjell Festival
August 1st NAEBA SKI RESORT, Fuji Rock Festival
