Ariel Pink to Compose Original Music for Hippie Horror Flick, ‘Bad Vibes’ Ariel Pink to Compose Original Music for Hippie Horror Flick, ‘Bad Vibes’

DSC_0212SXSW-Ben-Day-3-300x199Jesus Christ, this is amazing. Okay. Okay. As some of you know our offices can be a little divided at times in regard to the musical “genius” of Ariel Pink (though we all do like the name “Haunted Graffiti”) but we all love some motherfucking horror and at least a few of us believe that Zombie Honeymoon was a shockingly devastating meditation on love in the time of armageddon and An American Werewolf in London remains an unfuckwithable film that is funny and gory and also, kinda devastating in its own way so when we learned that John Landis would be EPing David Gebroe’s return to (behind) the screen, Bad Vibes, we all but flipped our shit and when we considered that Ariel Pink has a wild device that allows him to ape genre’s with a wry postmodern reverence we just fell to blubbering blood baths because when we close our eyes we can hear him be Goblin SO HARD! UGH! AWESOME! There’s not too much info on the flick just yet but it is coming out via Spectrevision (Elijah Wood, et al) so…yeah, man…dig this fucking poster.
